Immmm BACK!!

In all seriousness… yes Im back to blogging. It needs to be done. Its been a year since my last post. I need to capture the memories. It will happen. My sister just moved to Florida with her new husband and has started blogging again, so ive got some motivation and inspiration to keep our blogging communication going.

I just have to figure out the best way for loading pics. Since that is what messed my up before. I think ill use Flickr, since ive got a pro account there and its so easy to load up there. I will probably even move over all these old posts to the archived blog (wordpress) so this starts a clean slate here. 🙂

Back to Blogging?

I really hope so! Ive been so out of blogging these last 2 4 6 8 months, I can’t believe I let it get like this.

I started blogging in April 2007, after meeting Nicole. And LOVED seeing the ease of documenting your family, your thoughts, and your life around you, while its happening. Its been so nice to go back a year or two and see what we were doing, what the boys looked like, and when we took our trip to say, Michigan’s Adventue.

Ive also been in the progress of printing trying to find time to print each year of my blog off into a book through Blurb or Blog2Print. This will make for great memories later down the road!

So I’ve got the alarm on my phone set and ready to remind me to blog on that day. My goal is to get back to posting 3x a week. Definitely gonna need some encouragement, so post me a comment! Just curious as to see who is still reading, or who is new to my blog… 🙂

Self titled, Self pic

Nicole and Michelle have put together a blog to help challenge us to take more pictures. I need this. I need motivation. I need to capture more moments in my family’s everyday happenings. Cristi and I have even signed up for a class through the ISD to help us learn our digital SLR cameras more and to use them to our advantage for taking more pictures. I always feels if I knew how to use my camera more on Manual Mode, then I would use it more. I am getting excited for the class in a few weeks. And excited to start this challenge ISO {In Search Of}.

Believe it or not..

I think these are the ONLY Easter pics that I have this year! I came home from work and found that the kids had already gotten up, searched for Easter eggs and their baskets, and were ready for breakfast. Done. Totally missed it. Oh well, its not like Christmas and I NEED to make a big production out of it. Still would have been nice for pictures and even to see Brady’s excitement from finding them. 🙂

I did get a few pics of the boys on Papa’s new John Deere Gator ‘tractor’.

Spring Break

We went up to the U.P. (thats Upper Pennisula of Michigan, for those not from ’round here ;)) for Spring Break this year. It was nice to go up and visit my Grandma Peggy. We haven’t seen her since before Brady was born, so this gave her a chance to finally meet him. We had a great visit, just lounging around the house. 

We made sure to get the boys marked on the growth chart. 

As you can see, its been around for a looooong time!
